2. What data we process and why

Visiting the website

When you open a page, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver it: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system. We use this data only to run the website, keep it secure and fix errors.

  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention: short term, normally no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate an attack or misuse.

Contact form and e-mail

When you use the contact form, we process your e-mail address, name, subject and message, plus your company and phone number if you provide them. When you write to us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you send us. We use this data only to answer your request and, if you ask for it, to prepare a quote or offer.

  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for general questions, our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Providing the data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address, name, subject and message we cannot answer.
  • Retention: up to 24 months after our last exchange. If a contract follows, we keep the related data for as long as Italian law requires (generally 10 years for accounting and tax records).

Map

Our pages show a map of our location provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When the map loads, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address and technical browser data and may set cookies. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping visitors find us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Cookies

We do not use advertising, analytics or profiling cookies. The only cookie we set ourselves is a technical session cookie for the password-protected administration area, used by our staff only. Google may set cookies through the embedded map, as described above. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

4. Who receives the data

Your data is handled by our authorised staff and by these service providers, acting as data processors on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting, security and database), 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
  • Google Ireland Limited (e-mail service used to reply to you).

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. We may disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which both companies are certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Arts. 45 and 46 GDPR).

6. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict processing;
  • receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (portability);
  • object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest.

To exercise your rights, e-mail miliindustry31@gmail.com. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, www.garanteprivacy.it, or with the authority of the EU country where you live or work.

7. Automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

8. Security

All connections to this website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the administration area and to the messages you send us is protected by password and limited to authorised staff.

9. Minors

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data.
